  • MEMBERSHIP: Please get a friend, colleague, student to join. We have 22 new members that joined in this last quarter. Welcome! Please be sure to update your membership before it drops off. Membership lists are distributed quarterly, so if your name drops off, it may take up to 3 months to cycle back on.
  • Physician Assistant UPDATES- ERIK OLSTAD-no updates this month for PA’s.
  • Reminder: 2017 Elections –
    • President – Secretary changes

-The bylaws which are now mandated by PCNP went into effect earlier this year (see website).

Changes:

Jen Parker was nominated by Mary Kiersey for Treasurer we will have our election in September as planned

-New president position due to open Jan. 2018, while secretary position due to open the following year. At this time no members have volunteered or have been nominated: Lisa Adams has an expressed interest in the Presidential position due to her work with Carefor PA and Kim Churach has offered to complete the secretary position term. Therefore:

-Lisa Adams and Kim Churach will switch positions at the close of this meeting, A vote was taken at the meeting with unanimous “yays”.

    • Cheryl Schlamb-updated everyone from recent board meeting. This is nomination year for PCNP President and secretary. PCNP to mirror AANP’s model when onboarding a president-elect, allowing one year to transition together. Keep talking to your House reps.
    • CHERYL SCHLAMB to run for PCNP President!!! Please get the word out to support her.
  • 2018 Sponsor’s needed – Please see if you have reps willing to sponsor.

-Mary Keirsey and Amanda Laskoskie are our lecture coordinators. They need everyone’s help.
